A Full Body service includes your entire body and face.

Nope- You do not have to have your face sprayed!

If you wish to opt out of having spray tan applied to any part of your body, simply mention this to your consultant before the application process. We are able to apply a lighter spray throughout the transition area (i.e. the neck) to ensure the color blends naturally.

A Partial Body Tan includes the legs OR the upper body- i.e. face, neck, chest, upper back, and arms.

A Face Only service just includes the face and neck :)

Our consultants have the ability to mix over 100 different colors- we have different color bases for different skin tones, as well as different levels of darkness for each of those color bases.

A certified blushpro® consultant will begin your appointment with a quick color consultation to determine the perfect solution for your skin tone, based on your personal preference and skin tone/type.

Nope! All of our solution options will last the same amount of time.

A complementary PH balancing treatment is mixed in with every custom color, which will help to properly prepare your skin for the application by destroying hidden body oils and dry skin, and will extend the overall life of your spray tan.

Your custom color will be applied by one of our female sunless tanning experts who has been certified in the use of hvlp equipment, thoroughly taught our signature application method and fully understands the science behind blushtan® solutions and skincare.

Each member of our staff prides themselves in their professionalism and aims to provide a welcoming, judgement-free environment for a comfortable and positive sunless experience!

Our sunless solutions are free of oils and aloe, so they dry within just a few minutes!

You will be provided with a warm air dryer post-application, as well as the option to be powdered to prevent any tacky feeling on the skin.

Your shower time will depend on which solution option you choose and how dark you want your results to be. You consultant will provide you with a recommended shower time based on your consultation.

Our Original Solution generally requires you to wait at least 10-12 hours before showering. The solution will not continue to develop after 12 hours, so you may shower at your convenience after the initial 12 hours have passed.

With our Express Solution you should shower in 4 hours for a healthy glow, 5 hours for a medium tan and 6 hours for a 'back from vacation' look.

With our Super Express Solution you should shower in 2 hours for a healthy glow, 3 hours for a medium tan and 4 hours for a 'back from vacation' look.

With our CLEAR Solution you should shower once you notice color starting to develop on your skin. Showering in 2 hours will typically provide a healthy glow, 3 hours will provide a medium tan and 4+ hours will develop into a 'back from vacation' look.

Do not allow your skin to come in contact with any water or product until your tan has fully set (this will depend on which solution you had applied). This means no liquid make-up, moisturizer, and no activities that will cause you to sweat until after your first shower. No crying, washing dishes or accidentally peeing on your leg either (yup, it happens).

You may wear light powders and mascara, but you must avoid applying liquid makeup to the skin until after your first shower post-application.

If you plan to allow your tan to develop overnight then we suggest wearing a long sleeve top and long pants to bed, in order to avoid skin to skin contact. Any skin to skin contact will create friction on the skin, which creates sweat, which will not allow your tan to set- this also means no skin to skin contact with anyone else’s skin ;)

Your custom blushtan™ will provide gorgeous, glowing results for about a week!

Generally, your spray tan will look its absolute best for the first 3-5 days, then slowly fade as your top layer of skin falls off. It may take up to two weeks for your spray tan to fade completely.

Keep in mind- spray tan solutions only adhere to the very top layer of your skin, so following proper guidelines to keep this layer of skin in tact is extremely important! The longevity of your spray tan will depend mostly on how well your skin was prepared and maintained.

Be sure to keep your skin moisturized and avoid products with harsh chemicals, exfoliants and bleaching ingredients. Hot tubs, saunas and excessive perspiration will also cause your tan to fade more quickly.

To get the most out of your tan, ask about our line of sunless-safe skincare products! Using products specifically designed for spray tanning preparation and maintenance will not only provide longer lasting results, but also more natural and even fading.

Did you receive a blushtan® Express, Super Express or CLEAR Solution service? If yes, it is completely normal for your spray tan to appear to have washed off entirely in the shower! Although you were able to shower in just a few hours following your application, all of our solutions take 12-24 hours to develop. Please wait until your tan has fully developed before judging the results.

If you have waited at least 12 hours and still have concerns about your results, please reach out to the studio where your service was provided. We are happy to provide you with a complimentary touchup on the day following your original appointment!

Color on the face can fade more quickly due to more frequent washing, and daily wearing and removal of makeup. A typical skincare routine for the face is generally meant to promote new cell growth, which means shedding the skin cells that your spray tan has adhered to.

We highly recommend using our Rosewater Face Mist to touch up the face between spray tans!
